What exactly do you do for a career?
“I build online training programs and manufacture aesthetics and beauty products for entrepreneurs to join an industry and grow their career. Through an array of programs, entrepreneurs can learn like they would in college, actual trades to have a vehicle of absolute success. We ship these products and train people globally and have created a community of 35,000 people who have started a career with using SCALPA as a tool of success.”
What was the process for you to find what you wanted to do?
“I dropped out of high school at the age of 16 and I knew that one day I would find a way to help others like me who didn’t want to be played by the system. I knew there had to be a way to find success fast by learning a trade. As I grew companies, I would create remarkability, find ways to use my creativity, think outside he box to gain success fast. While others were going through the college system, I was making money fast. This was how I built my community and customer base, by showing people vehicles to make money by doing something they loved. If you love what you do and are trained properly and to the point, you’ll never work a day in your life.”
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
“Watching people who have nothing at first, join SCALPA and gain massive success. Not just in money ,but their mindset, their new found freedom and their self respect. I’ve created a community that supports each other and organically through the online programs and others who have gone through them, we help each other. They say your networth is based on your network. People who have been successful have tapped into all the tools I give them and have followed them exactly, which has shown them how to build their own empire.”
Can you tell us about your company/job/hustle?
“My hustle is simple, I keep adding more trades and opportunities for people to learn and use new products. We launch 5–10 new programs per month and we keep on the edge of innovation. We keep our ear to our students, what they want to learn, what we see will help them gain and we go for it. It’s fun for me because I am always doing something new, it’s never the same. Our community of entrepreneurs can keep following our next program for another opportunity to add another service to make money and more importantly make a difference in someones life.”
What do you want your audience to know?
“That I do this out of love and for personal reasons. I was that young guy who was lost, who didn’t have a vehicle with all my energy to move to make money. You can have all the energy and ideas in the world, but if you don’t have a product or service to drive, it can be a long road. This is what we’ve created, a real thing, not some made up idea some other companies try to sell. We sell real products, real systems,. Real results and the community speaks for itself. We have grown so big not by selling training programs, but having others become successful that they keep buying our products. If you win, we win, it’s a common effort and community of success.”
What is your greatest success so far?
“I was the first to create the scalp micro pigmentation procedure in the world and created the market 18 years ago. I put on the first scalp micro pigmentation conference in the world, now called SCALPACON where artists come together to get more knowledge, connect and learn from each other. I built the biggest franchise in the permeant makeup world, Scalp Aesthetics, having 1300 locations in 65 countries. Latest biggest accomplishment is building the biggest online system in the aesthetics beauty industry and having the most vast array of products for entrepreneurs to tap into and create their own services. I love to create a platform for people to come together and organically feed and succeed off each other.”
Where are you from?
“Rochester, NY.”
What are some of the challenges you faced along the way?
“Biggest challenge was I wasn’t built for school, I am left handed, right brained and have very bad ADHD. School teachers told me I didn’t apply myself and I would never amount to anything. Luckily I saw a silver lining as I grew up and knew that just maybe I had with my “handicap” a blessing in disguise. I had a way of thinking out of the box, to see what others didn’t see, to carry out projects and manage people like others couldn’t. Instead of making it a crutch, I made it my key to success.”
What does it take to be a successful entrepreneur?
“It’s all mindset and how you react to situations and take care of the people around you. Building a team is so important around you who are better than you. I always say I’m not good at anything, my employees, each and everyone one of them together are better and different good at different dynamics of my business than I am at any of them. Don’t micromanage, let people fail, let people take risks, promote failing and just GO FOR IT. I’m the idea guy, I say lets go and they have been trained to implement and take action. My gift is creating possibilities and unique ways to grow while my team does a phenomenal job and executing my plan, dream and vision.”
Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
“Growing my online systems into more industries and taking what we’ve learned and empowering entrepreneurs to get into all different trades. The trade, quick education and products is the constant but there are more arenas I want to touch and move. I know there are better ways I can bring to the table for others to enter all different markets through the tools I’ve learned.”
